Michelin-star Chef Matt Gillan Launches this Weekend's Foodies Festival Brighton
with Brand New Summer Inspired Ice Cream Flavour
Brighton's food-lovers can look forward to a taste-bud-tickling Bank Holiday Weekend as Foodies Festival serves up a feast of foodie fun on Hove Lawns 30th April - 2nd May. Michelin-star Chef Matt Gillan of The Pass Restaurant created a summer inspired Strawberry & Basil with Cocoa Nibs flavoured ice cream and joined Victoria Wilson from Brighton based Vintage Scoops to launch Foodies Festival.
Michelin-star Chef Matt Gillan commented... 'Foodies Festival is a must-do event for anyone who enjoys great food and drink and a day out with friends. I'm really looking forward to being part of the celebrations this weekend and you will find me in the Chefs Theatre cooking some of my favourite recipes using seasonal ingredients. This year's line up looks fantastic, so I'm looking forward to exploring the festival after my demo and tucking into some street food and browsing the Artisan Producers Market.'
