Foodies Festival Christmas

We are thrilled to be looking after the PR for Foodies Festival christmas, the inaugural winter edition of Foodies Festival. Set in enchanting Old Truman Brewery on London's Brick Lane, it's the first time the UK's biggest food and drink festival visits East London.

As well as traditional mince pies, mulled wine and roast chestnuts, the festival boasts a huge selection of new features including a Whiskey Arena, an international Cheese Village, Craft Beer Market and Ski Bars serving après ski cocktails, off-piste snacks, high altitude tipples and live DJs; creating a chilled out St Anton vibe. Visitos can learn how to cook the perfect Christmas feast from London's top chefs in a new open air Chefs Theatre, and visit the Producers Grotto where they can browse a range of seasonal produce and artisan gifts to sample and take home. Food and drink matching masterclasses with experts in the Drinks Theatre feature the best champagnes and wines to buy this season, and mixologists serve up festive cocktail recipes to shake up at home.

The Christmas Feasting Table, a huge banqueting table at the heart of the festival, neighbours theStreet Food Avenue serving up Christmas delicacies from around the world. There are also hands-on Cake & Bake Masterclasses; pop-up restaurants; Soda bar; a life-sized Gingerbread House and a Pudding Hall with pâtissiers and chocolatiers selling eggnog tarts, marzipan bonbons and macaron. Just like Christmas day there will be lots of post-feasting festivities to be had with entertainment throughout the day. Register to compete in the daily Christmas Bumper Quiz, have a group Christmas jumper picture taken, sing carols and learn how to dance the Gay Gordon with ceilidh dancing and live music from the Entertainment Stage. An Elf Cookery School invites children under 12 to bake snowballs and decorate gingerbread men, cookies and cupcakes to leave out for Santa. There are also live reindeers to pet and snow balls fights to be had in the courtyard.
